Unstoppable RC Cola Army Crush the San Jose Builders

Flaunting a well-balanced offensive attack topped with a handful defensive gems, the Lady Troopers were unstoppable dominating the Victorias in just an hour and 11 minutes en route to their third win in this premier inter-club tourney backed by Asics, Mikasa, Senoh, Mueller and grand Sports with TV5 as official broadcaster partner.

Jovelyn Gonzaga led the scoring parade but it was Rachel Anne Daquis and Honey Royse Tubino who delivered killer punches early on that left San Jose Builders grasping for form.

New San Jose Builders Victorias Hungry For Win

After dropping their first two matches to F2 Logistics and Foton respectively, Victorias coach Ken Moleno said his wards remain in high spirits eager to pull off an earth-shaking upset of the Lady Troopers.

“In fact we trained long and hard last Sunday,” Moleno said. “The girls are all hungry and eager to win. They want to upset Army because doing such will be a major achievement, something that will inspire them when they return to the NCAA next year. We know it isn’t easy, but we’ll do our very best to win.”

Moleno is pinning his hopes on University of Perpetual Help stalwarts Lourdes Clemente, Coleen Bravo, Jamela Suyat and Cindy Imbo as well as Maribeth Laro of De La Salle-Dasmarinas and Arnie Yumul of Emilio Aguinaldo College.
