Chery Tiggo recovered from two sets down to overcome Maeva Orle and PLDT Home Fibr, 18-25, 21-25, 25-22, 28-26, 15-12, in the Philippine Superliga Grand Prix last night at the Filoil Flying V Centre in San Juan.
Tatjana Bokan carried the fight while Elaine Kasilag and Rachel Austero provided support for the Crossovers, who collected their second win in this prestigious women’s club tourney bankrolled by Cocolife, Cocogen Insurance, Sogo, Eurotel, Sweet and Fit Stevia, Team Rebel Sports and Genius Sports.
Bokan fired 30 kills and five aces for 25 points while Kasilag added 11 and Austero chipped in 10 markers for Chery Tiggo, which took the victory in a marathon match that needed two hours and 24 minutes to conclude.

Austero and Bokan delivered in the crucial stretch to claim the third-set victory and gain momentum the rest of the way.
Orle, who delivered nine of PLDT’s attacks in the fifth set delivered an impressive 47 kills and three aces for game-high 50 points, but it went down the drain as the Power Hitters suffered their third straight loss.
