Petron Sinks Marinerang Pilipina

Petron head coach Shaq Delos Santos had the luxury to field all of his 14 players as they earned their ninth straight win before facing unbeaten leader F2 Logistics (11-0) on Thursday at the Filoil Flying V Centre in San Juan City.

“I’m happy that all my players delivered,” said Delos Santos.

“Fielding all of them was part of the game plan and as I told them to get ready, they played well-prepared.”

HD Spikers’ coach Edgar Barroga said they are moving on from that sorry episode and just focus on their remaining games to clinch a twice-to-beat incentive in the quarterfinals.

“We have to move on from that loss because we still have two remaining games,” Barroga said.

“Those games are important. We need to be in a good standing entering the quarterfinals.”
