BAGUIO CITY – It’s going to be a fun-filled and action-packed weekend as Philippine Superliga (PSL) stars roll to this pine-dotted city to display their talent in an exhibition match and other off-court activities.
Bannered by league ambassador Aby Maraño of F2 Logistics, the PSL All-Star teams will hold a volleyball clinic before clashing in a friendly battle at 5 pm on Sunday at the University of Baguio (UB) gym.
Prior to that, fans will get a chance to mingle with them in a meet-and-greet session at 3 pm on Saturday at the events place of SM City Baguio.
They will also visit the Philippine Military Academy (PMA) museum and have a boodle fight with the members of its women’s volleyball team before heading back to Manila on Monday.
PSL chairman Philip Ella Juico said holding an out-of-town event is their way of thanking the fans especially those from the provinces.
“This our way of expressing our gratitude for their unwavering support, not only to the league, but to Philippine volleyball in general,” said Juico, who also thanked Baguio City Mayor Mauricio Domogan, City Administrator Carlos Canilao and sports coordinators Gauds Gonzales and Paul Rillorta.
Tickets are still available at the UB Athletics Department and SM City Baguio.
